Meet The Team

Lisa Rieser

Lisa has been with Morgantown Beauty College since 1998 and serves as our Esthetics Instructor. Immediately upon high school graduation, she attended beauty college and has fostered that passion every day since. Lisa thrives at our school by meeting each student that steps through our doors, completing the first step of their dream. Over the years, Lisa’s favorite memory with our school has been attending trade shows in New York City.

Kathy Calain

Kathy is a Morgantown Beauty College alumni and Cosmetology Instructor. She prides herself in owning her own salon and working as an educator for the Wella corporation. When not at the school, she enjoys spending time outside with her grandchildren, like riding bikes and attending their sporting events. Her favorite memory from working at the school was when the students and staff celebrated Woodstock’s 50th anniversary with throwback hairstyles and music.

Hunter Griffith

Hunter Griffith is a Licensed Nail Technician & our on-campus Nail Technology Instructor at Morgantown Beauty College. After graduating from MBC and earning her professional license, Hunter continued her education by obtaining her Instructor’s License and returning to teach at the school where her own journey began. Hunter especially enjoys working with students who are interested in nail technology and helping them discover their strengths through hands-on learning and practical experience. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students grow from beginners into confident nail techs. When she is not in the classroom, Hunter enjoys creating nail art, baking, and volunteering at summer camp.

Sandi Jamison

Sandi is a licensed Cosmetology/Esthetics instructor with 35+ years of experience in sculpting, hair design color texturizing, skin and nail care, business owner, consulting and management. Certified with Pivot Point, teaching methodology, certified in safety training along with several others. She graduated from Robinsons School of Cosmetology in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Megan Donaldson

Megan Donaldson is a 2024 graduate of Morgantown Beauty College. She is one of MBC’s Esthetics instructors and is also a professional makeup artist. She finds joy in teaching and is passionate about helping students build confidence in their skills while preparing for successful careers in the beauty industry. Outside of the classroom, you can find Megan spending time with her fiancé and dog, shopping, or reading. 

Michele

Michele Richard

Michele is our Nail Technology Instructor. She has over 45 years of hands on experience in the industry of hair, skin, & nails and has worked with many different titles over that time. From working with Lancôme as a business manager and regional makeup artist & trainer, to being an experienced educator – Michele has done a bit of it all! As our newest Nail Instructor, Michele is the one who will teach you the practical side of nail technology. Assisting you with forming beads and learning how to shape, she is the woman who will take you to creating the perfect claws you envision.

Kathleen Wydo

Kathleen is an Esthetics/Cosmetology Instructor and previous salon owner.

As an Instructor she has had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students between Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Teaching has brought so much joy to Kathleen’s life by imparting knowledge and molding Character of many students

She enjoys spending time with family and especially her four grandchildren.

Also, she is a huge “foodie”.

Davey

Davey Hamilton

Davey is a Morgantown Beauty College’s Massage Instructor. He’s worked in many settings including physical therapy, spa and self practice with interest towards aiding in injury recovery/pain management. Since 2022 he has been studying Thai massage, a technique that involves acupressure, stretching and Ayurvedic principles. When not seeing clients, he also enjoys spending the warmer months outdoors with friends, indulging in music, trying new recipes and spending time in museums when out of town.

Kayla Aracich

Kayla Aracich is a 2025 graduate of Morgantown Beauty College. As a student, she enjoyed her experience so much so that it inspired her to help the beauty industry grow through an institution she knows and trusts (through the admissions office, of course.) She is also one of MBC’s Cosmetology Instructors– a dream come true! Kayla takes pride in assisting students before, during, and after the enrollment process to ensure success going forward with their education and career. She values being able to connect with students on a more personal level by sharing her positive experiences during her time at MBC with them. When Kayla is out of the office- she enjoys thrifting, listening to music, cooking, and spoiling her cat, Rookie.

Erin Smallwood

Erin Smallwood is a licensed cosmetology instructor with over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry. Passionate about education and professional development, Erin is dedicated to helping aspiring beauty professionals build strong technical skills, confidence, and industry knowledge. With expertise in cosmetology techniques, salon practices, and student mentorship, Erin strives to inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.

Financial aid is available to students that qualify. Morgantown Beauty College offers a variety of flexible tuition payment plans. We can also help you identify if you are eligible for any other programs available such a Veterans Administration, WIA (Workforce Investment Act), etc.
